Ingredients
4sweet potatoes, cooked
2large eggs
1/2cup whole milk
1teaspoon vanilla extract
4tablespoons butter
1/4cup brown sugar
For the crumbs:
1/2cup all-purpose flour
1/2cup brown sugar
1/2cup walnuts
4tablespoons butter
Instructions
First, mash the sweet potatoes through a fine mesh sieve and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Then, stir the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, butter, and brown sugar.
Mix until combined and transfer the mixture to a casserole dish well greased with butter.
In another bowl, mix the flour with the brown sugar, chopped walnuts, and butter into a crumbly mixture and top the casserole.
Bake in an already heated oven at 350 F or 180 C degrees for about 25 minutes.
