St. Patty's Day Cupcakes
St. Patrick's Day St. Patrick's Day Cupcakes with M&M's Crispy baked in!
Equipment
- 1 cupcake pan
- 1 Whisk
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of M&M's® Crispy Candies
- 1/2 cup of butter softened
- 3/4 heaping cup of sugar somewhere just under a cup will do
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup cold milk
- Green food mist
- Green sugar/sprinkles
- **FROSTING**
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4.5 cups confectionery sugar
- 1 tbs vanilla
- 4 to 6 tbs of milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In one bowl:
- Mix/Cream butter and sugar
- Add 1 egg at a time, beat eggs in
- Stir in vanilla
- Separate bowl:
- Stir dry ingredients together
- Add dry ingredients and milk to butter mixture, stir
- Stir in M&M's® Crispy candies with spoon
- Put cupcake liners in a cupcake pan, fill liners about 2/3rds of the way full
- Bake at 350 for 18 to 24 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
- Once baked, remove carefully from tin to prevent over baking. Allow to cool before frosting, adding green food mist and sprinkles. Decorate with a topper!
- **FROSTING**
- Cream butter with mixer
- Add vanilla and confectionery sugar, add milk slowly until desired consistency is reached
