Fix A Cracked Driveway
How to fix a crack in an asphalt driveway easily. This tutorial will show you how to repair a cracked driveway with a tube of driveway crack repair material.
Equipment
- Caulk gun
- Wire brush
- Trowel
Ingredients
- Tube of asphalt patch product
- Water for cleaning the asphalt
Instructions
- Clean the surface of your driveway. Remove any debris and weeds from the crack using a wire brush. Wash the driveway with water and allow to completely dry.
- Follow the instructions on your asphalt crack repair tube and apply it to the crack.
- Use the trowel to smooth out the area so the crack repair is evenly applied
- Allow it to dry for up to 48 hours, see material instructions for dry times
- Consider sealing your entire driveway after repairing the cracks
Notes
If the patch soaks deep into the crack, you may need to apply a second coat.
