1piece12" foam craft cone
1pieceStar ornament
1pieceGlass candlestick holder
White chalk paint and foam brush
Sanding block or paper
Instructions
Start by cutting buffalo plaid fabric into 30 squares 4 inches long.
Next, fold each square in half. Then stick them together using one dab of hot glue.
Make the tree stand by painting a candlestick holder with chalk paint. For a smooth finish, apply 3 coats.
Once dry, scuff it with sandpaper to give it an antiqued look.
Starting from the bottom, attach buffalo plaid fabric to the foam cone. Carefully move up to cover the entire cone.
Add another layer overlapping the first slightly. Keep adding layers until you get to the top. Make sure the top layer is overhanging the top of the cone by about 1/4".
Glue the tree to the candlestick (tree stand!).
Add the star to the top of the tree and display it on your mantle or holiday table.
