TOUCHDOWN! Who’s going to take it all this year? Football runs through our veins here in New England and we’re gearing up for our football party with frozen 7UP® mocktail margaritas (alcohol optional) in mason jars and a delicious 7UP party dip recipe!
STOP! What’s your prediction? Who will be the champions this year and what do you think the score will be? After perusing through these recipes and making a shopping list, tell me in the comments at the bottom of the page!
As you know, I’ve been involved in football since I was a kid. Whether it was on the field or off, football is always a subject of conversation around our house. As we get older, we get more creative with our football parties. Each year I try to come up with a new recipe or two to bring to the party, and this year is no different. We’re making a delicious 7UP party dip to go with our frozen 7UP margaritas!
So, off to Walmart we go to snag our goodies! Aside from chips and other snacks, we’ll make sure to swing by the soda aisle and grab a 12 pack of 7UP 12oz cans.
Don’t forget to grab a bottle of your favorite margarita mix, a tub of lemon-lime sherbet or sorbet and of course a bag of ice! Grab which ever margarita mix you like, we happen to like one with agave nectar and key lime juice!
Fun tip: Use white tape to create football laces on mason jar mugs. It’s the perfect way to be football-festive while watching your favorite teams battle it out on the gridiron!
You’re still thinking about who’s going to win, right? Final score? 21 to 14?

- Zest from one lime
- Pinch of salt
- Using your mixer, whip the cream cheese until creamy

If you can make this dip the day before, that’s even better. Let the flavors mingle overnight!
