Spicy Baked Tortilla Chips

Easy, spicy baked tortilla chips

  • Twelve 6 inch white corn tortillas
  • 2 tbs Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix vegetable oil, salt and chili powder in a bowl
  • Brush vegetable oil mixture onto both sides of all the tortillas
  • Stack and cut tortillas in to 6 wedges each
  • Place tortilla wedges onto a baking sheet (use 2 sheets or make 2 batches)
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes; turning baking sheet around half way
  • Chips are done when they're golden brown and crisp
  • While hot, sprinkle with salt if desired
