Yes, we eventually eat the other stuff in the trail mix, and work it in between delicious bites. However, the sweet chocolate candies and the salty peanuts and pretzels are the best part, at least we think so.

I love pretzel rods and couldn’t imagine not including pretzels in my trail mix brownies recipe. So for this brownie recipe I’m only including M&M’s® Milk Chocolate candies, honey roasted peanuts and salted pretzels! Yum!

If you love salty and sweet trail mix, you’ll love these trail mix brownies! 😉 Heck, you can add anything you want, even raisins *bleck* if you want to….just cut the measurements accordingly!

Delicious, easy to make trail mix brownies with just the good stuff (candy, peanuts and pretzels)

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Pillsbury Family Size Fudge Brownie Mix
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • cups M&M's® Milk Chocolate candies
  • ½ cup honey roasted peanuts
  • ½ cup crunched up pretzels

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 for glass or dark pan)
  • Slightly crush 1 cup of M&M's® candies
  • Slightly crush 1/4 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • Slightly crush 1/2 cup pretzels
  • Prepare brownie mix as directed on packaging (eggs, oil, water)
  • Fold M&M's® candies, peanuts and pretzels into batter
  • Grease 9x13 pan with cooking spray or grease with butter; line bottom of pan with parchment paper if desired
  • Pour batter into pan
  • Bake 28-31 min; remove from oven and top with remaining M&M's and a few extra peanuts
  • Cool completely, cut and enjoy!
