The Edgewood 4 inch faucet by Glacier Bay is an elegant and affordable option for a bathroom faucet. We remodeled our bathroom and used this faucet along with the new vanity for a nice finish.
The faucet comes in chrome and brushed nickel. We went with the brushed nickel, since that is the ‘theme’ for fixtures throughout our house. The Edgewood faucet will likely fit any 3 hole, 4 inch application but you should be aware that the pull up lever for the drain plug is on the back side of the faucet. You don’t need extra clearance for it, but it is tucked behind the faucet itself, as you can see in the picture above.
The installation of the faucet went very smoothly. Adjusting the lever for the drain plug is the only thing that takes a little time. Otherwise, everything simply twists on and into place. We used Sta-Put plumbers putty around the drain before screwing it into the sink. This prevents any water from entering around the lip of the drain.
This faucet curves up higher than others which allows for more room beneath. More room to wash up! When I first saw the faucet I was concerned that the faucet might move water out at an angle, but it does not. The water stream goes straight down just like any other regular looking faucet.
I would recommend the Edgewood 4″ bathroom faucet by Glacier Bay, it’s certainly the best looking bathroom faucet I’ve ever had in my house! So, whether you’re replacing your old ugly faucet or remodeling your entire bathroom, don’t hesitate to get this bathroom faucet – it’s a very nice unit!
For the price of this unit, you can’t go wrong. The faucet is sleek, looks great and produces a perfect stream of water. The handles move very easily and are as sturdy as can be. The whole faucet is a nice solid piece, not lightweight junk that you might find out there. You won’t be disappointed.
