DIY Milk Bottle Vase for Flowers

Directions

Like I said, this is real easy to do. Simply wrap your painters tape around the bottles, leaving stripes of glass visible. You can go straight around or make zig-zaggy patterns. It’s up to you! Be creative!

Painting bottles with chalk paint

Shake your chalk paint vigorously to mix it up well.

Blue Chalk Paint

Paint the jars between and over the edges of the tape. Yes, the paint is almost the exact same color as the painters tape!

How To Chalk Paint Milk Bottles

Once you’re done painting, remove the tape just before the paint dries. I went ahead and added twine around the tops and glass stones inside the bottles for a little extra oomph.

Pro Tip: Use the tip of a knife to get under the end of the tape to help peel it off.

Add water and fresh flowers! Voila! It’s a simple way to freshen up your home and make spring seem all that much closer.
