DIY Christmas Tree ornament!
This Christmas tree shaped ornament take just a few minute to make, so let’s get to it.
- Popsicle or Craft sticks – if you find colored sticks you can skip the painting step!
- Acrylic or chalk paint
- Glue – hot glue or contact cement work great
- Tree toppers; this could be pom-poms or little stars, whatever you find or make
- Tinsel pipe cleaner
- Thin ribbon
Cut your popsicle sticks, glue them together, decorate and hang. Here are the steps for you to follow…
Cut your craft sticks.
Align five craft popsicle sticks together and draw a rough shape of a tree on them. Cut on the lines with sharp scissors or a craft knife.
If you don’t have pre-colored craft sticks, now is the time to paint your sticks and let them dry.
Lay 1 stick on a flat surface and glue the cut pieces in order to create the shape of a Christmas tree, beginning 1/4″ from the top of the full length craft stick.
Attach your tree topper (we’re using a yellow pom-pom) to the top of the tree with glue.
Glue on your pipe cleaner like tinsel.
Finally, attach your small ribbon (about 7 inches of ribbon should work) to the back of your tree to make hanging it on your Christmas tree easy.
All there is left to do is hang your DIY Christmas tree ornament on your Christmas tree! Don’t forget to add a photo of your Christmas tree to the link-up above!
