TRISCUIT crackers are a staple in our house and when I heard they were releasing new flavors I knew I had to toss together a new TRISCUIT appetizer recipe. We usually serve TRISCUIT Original Crackers with cheese, apples or find other great TRISCUIT crackers creations for our guests to enjoy, but today we’re doing something a little different.
Shrimp &Â TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers Appetizer
Summer is here and seafood is always on our mind. This is why I’ve chosen to share a nice shrimp TRISCUIT appetizer recipe with you. These “Smoked Gouda Shrimpcuits”, as I’m going to call them (get it?), are tasty little bites that will be an absolute hit at your backyard BBQs, family reunions and other summer gatherings.
I grabbed a box of TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers at Walmart, stopped by the produce department for a few fresh lemons and grabbed some fresh cooked shrimp in the seafood area, too. I knew we had the rest of the ingredients to make our tartar sauce topping like relish, mayo and mustard at home. See how easy this is to toss together? 4 ingredient tartar sauce with shrimp and crackers – how can you go wrong?

- TRISCUIT Reduced Fat Crackers
- TRISCUIT Hint of Salt Crackers

TRISCUIT Crackers & Shrimp Appetizer
We’ll stir together mayo, relish, mustard and fresh lemon juice to make our oh-so- easy and delicious tartar sauce.
Step 1: Place a dollop of the tartar sauce onto the TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers.
Step 2:Â Top the crackers with a freshly cooked shrimp!
Remove the shrimp tail shell before topping your TRISCUIT crackers if you wish, it’s up to you!
Step 3: Enjoy!
TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Cracker Shrimp Appetizer
Smoked Gouda Shrimpcuits
Ingredients
- 20 TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers
- 20 Cooked shrimp
- 1/2 cup mayonaise
- 2 tbs pickle relish
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, stir mayo, relish, mustard and lemon juice until well combined
- Top cracker with tartar sauce and shrimp
- (optional) squeeze a little more lemon juice over the shrimp
- Enjoy!
This recipe is our new favorite go-to recipe for our cookouts. It’s easy to make, and you can even include it in a “make your own” style appetizer bar where you lay out the TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers and toppings for people to choose from. These Smoked Gouda Shrimpcuits are a hit at our house and will be a hit at your house, too!

I love tricuits! They are perfect for snacking and making appetizers. I love anything with shrimp. Definitely going to have to try out this recipe.
Ooooh….. Gouda! My favorite! Did you know that Lion Country Safari in South Florida gives you (well, you have to buy them) Triscuit crackers to feed the giraffe? I was amazed when the giraffe keepers handed me my little box of giraffe ‘food’. Big Smile!!
