Football Party Food
No party is complete without a great dish! Today, we’re making TOSTITOS® Cheesy Burger Bites. Find the entire recipe below!
For our guests to snack on throughout the game, I’ve put together some fun SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Snack Cups in miniature galvanized buckets.
Skittles® and SNICKERS® Minis sit perfectly in football cupcake wrappers on the bleachers, waiting to be scooped up!
TOSTITOS® Scoops in fun football containers is a great way to serve them at your party. Of course, you must serve TOSTITOS® Medium Chunky Salsa, too!
We have a Pepsi™ versus Diet Pepsi™ battle on the gridiron for our party guests to enjoy!
Of course it’s always fun to have SNICKERS® Minis, FUN SIZE® and Skittles® scattered about the table for people to snack on. It also adds a little pizzazz to the decorations!
SNICKERS® Chocolate Football Cake
I’ve also whipped up a chocolate football SNICKERS® cake. This cake is pretty straight forward and easy to make. Of course, with my obsession with novelty cake pans, I got a football shaped cake pan.
However, you can easily cut a strip out of the middle of a round cake, push them together to create a football shape using round cake pans. Either way, this is a rich, delicious SNICKERS® chocolate cake you don’t want to miss!
TOSTITOS® Cheesy Burger Bites
Let’s start with our TOSTITOS® Cheesy Burger Bites Recipe. These are rather simple to make, but a great way to feed a crowd of people at your football party. I’m going to give you the play-by-play of putting these awesome cheesy burger bites together. Keep scrolling to find the printable recipe.
We’ll begin with our ground beef, TOSTITOS® Scoops, TOSTITOS® Medium Salsa, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Cook the beef on the stove top in a skillet, stirring frequently. When the beef is nearly finished cooking, add ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper – stir together to finish cooking.
Place TOSTITOS® Scoops on a baking sheet, fill half way with beef.
Add a scoop of TOSTITOS® Medium Salsa to each burger bite
Top each burger bite with lots of cheese and bake in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Football Party Decorations
You don’t need to have a decorative table cloth for your party, but it sure does help spruce things up! I found a fun football field table cloth for our football party.
You’ve got to have a game day sign announcing when the party is! Put it in your entertaining room a few weeks early, so throughout the playoffs everyone knows when and where the party for the big game is!
These football cupcake wrappers make perfect little holders for Skittles® and SNICKERS® Minis. I’m going to put them on my bleachers, someone needs to root on the teams!
I found these mini galvanized buckets and they work fantastic for our party table to hold SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® regular, Almond and Peanut Butter snacks!
Just for you, I made a printable football “Game Day” banner! Once you print the banner, you’ll need to use a hole punch to create a couple of holes near the top of each football, then string ribbon through (tape the ribbon to the back of each piece) and hang on your wall!
Print the football banner in landscape orientation for larger footballs, or portrait orientation for smaller footballs. TIP: Use card stock for sturdy footballs!
I’ve used strips of white tape to create a little football lace design on mason jars. These will hold the forks, napkins, and straws.
Homemade stadium seating. I made a little bleacher section for our Skittles® and SNICKERS® fans to sit on and scope all the game day fun!
Of course, I made the stadium seating using recycled wood. I used 3 pallet boards and my handy dandy brad nailer to assemble it. I cut 5 pieces; 16 inches long, and two pieces to support the back. The length of the support pieces will depend on the width of your boards. It’s easy enough to figure out! Once it it is assembled, give it a few coats of gloss black spray paint.
I drilled small holes along the edges and dipped game day toothpicks in a bit of glue, then inserted them around the boarder in the pre-drilled holes. I strung a bit of ribbon around them and voila — a fun little bleacher section!
Football Word Search
Kids football game day activity! Keep the kids busy with this printable football word search! This is a fun game day activity to help keep the kids busy for a little bit. I suppose this isn’t just for the kids, you adults can get in on the fun, too! Search away!
I hope I’ve given you plenty of ideas to make your game day party a hit with your friends and neighbors! I was able to score nearly everything we need for our party at Walmart – I love doing all my party shopping in one trip!

Those cheesy burger bites look delicious! My family would enjoy them even without watching the super bowl.
I really like the word search puzzle. Also the football cake and burger bites look so good. You put a lot of work and thought into this and it shows.
