These are simply the easiest peanut butter cookies you’ll ever make! I’m also adding a new flavor of M&M’s® candies, which go great with any dessert recipe, right? Today I’m using the new M&M’s® Honey Nut candies for this peanut butter cookies recipe. Honey and peanut butter is one of my favorite flavor combinations, so these peanut butter cookies really are wicked good!
Growing up, when we had honey in the house, I would always love making a peanut butter and honey sandwich. It was doubly good with crunchy peanut butter. So, when M&M’s® announced their new M&M’s® Honey Nut variety with peanuts inside, I knew which recipe I was going to toss these in!
Easy. Simple. Delicious. 4 ingredient wicked good peanut butter cookies is whats on our plate today. Okay, okay, you got me - with the M&M’s® it’s 5 ingredients, but with the M&M’s® Honey Nut it also makes them more awesome.
Putting together these honey peanut butter cookies is quite easy. You just need a few simple ingredients, which you likely already have on hand. Peanut butter, sugar, honey, an egg, and of course M&M’s® to top them off!
Add sugar, peanut butter, honey and egg in a bowl and mix it with your mixer until all the ingredients are combined. (Find the whole recipe below.)
The mix may seem a little flaky, but that’s okay – they’ll ball up nicely!
With your hands, form 1½ inch balls with the dough. Place them on a parchment lined or non-stick baking sheet a couple inches apart. I love the parchment baking sheets because they don’t roll up on you!
Press each ball down with the tines of a fork, make a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 9-11 minutes at 350 degrees, or until the bottom edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately place 3 M&M’s® Honey Nut candies on each cookie, pressing them in slightly. Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before moving (with a spatula) to the cooling rack.
Honey Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies are so simple, yet so delicious. We snagged a couple of cookies for dessert and Katie brought the rest to work with her, and they were gone by 9am! I’m not suggesting it, but I don’t see a problem with cookies for breakfast, do you? 😉
