Chew Like The Pros – Big League Chew
Just a few weeks ago I was walking through the grocery store and out of the corner of my eye, in the summer fun and games aisle I spotted a pouch of gum that looked familiar. It reminded me of my childhood (and if you played Little League Baseball, probably yours too!) It was the unmistakable pouch of Big League Chew gum.
We All Remember Big League Chew!
You remember… the bag of grape goodness that you tore open in the back of the station wagon on the way to pitch your first ever All Star game – the feeling of confidence it gave you when you reached in and grabbed a pinch of the shredded gum and started to chew like your idols from the big leagues… From Tee Ball all the way through Babe Ruth, travel teams and more, Big League Chew always made you feel like a pro! [burst memory cloud here] lol
GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Attempt!
Big League Chew, manufactured in the USA by Ford Gum, is now the official bubble gum of Ripken Baseball.
At the first game of the 2014 Ripken World Series, hosted in Aberdeen, MD on August 8th, there will be a big event. Those in attendance will have the chance to participate in a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS attempt for the most people blowing a bubble gum bubble simultaneously! How cool is that?
Update: The GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS attempt was a success! With 721 people blowing a bubble gum bubble simultaneously, a new record has been set!!

Here’s my Big League Bubble!
I think the size of the bubble when it was at it’s biggest threw the camera through a loop. It couldn’t quite find and focus on the bubble!
